I'd be scared to live in states with backwards leadership like Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida that are now responsible for things the federal government used to provide.

Just include the whole south. Alabama is on the verge of electing the dumbass Tuberville who doesn’t know the three branches of government, glazes trump with no regard and doesn’t even live in the state.

I’ve got a conspiracy theory that they love to sit back and watch the destruction because that allows for the insurance and construction/repair businesses to eat. Defederalizing FEMA allows for less oversight into who gets what money.

Basically they are hoping for another Katrina so they can swoop in and reshape a large urban center. Displace the inner city residents, tear down housing and replace it with cheap three story apartments that are managed by shell corporations
