Don't eat that money if he still has some utility. You can still draft a RB anyway (even though I'd focus on TE and LT as well as defense)

I wouldn't cut Forte, but there is something to be said for going all in and scorching earth. It can't all happen in one season though. Let Forte play out his contract. I would definitely be conservative in free agency though. I can't think of the last free agent we signed that turned out to be worth the money. Part of that is a function of having to overpay due to us sucking, but I would like to have to good players without breaking the bank for them.

You gotta get something for Richardson though. Even if it's just a third or fourth. Breh has too much talent.
I think he's tanked his own value. Get what you can but don't hold out hope for something great.
As talented as he is,I bet quite a few gms wouldn't touch him.

Someone in the last thread said that every year they hype a new QB who comes out of nowhere and people overdraft. Last year it was Carson Went and this year, it looks like it could be Trubisky. Another name I keep hearing is Nate Peterman out of Pitt. Anyone know anything about him?
