I don't get this post at all.

If you spend the $47.82 to make five damn sandwiches.
Then you really spent:
$9.57 per sandwich.
This is how it should be looked at.
And depending on the meal that's being made, you literally will never spend more than you would
in a restaurant.
I'm over here still cooking like a brokie bodybuilder when I don't want to go out and eat.
Jumbo Baked Potato costs like what six bucks per bag?
A bag of chicken costs about the same? Maybe more?
And you get several of each?
That's A LOT of money saved just baking potatoes, grilling/frying/baking/roasting chicken
and throwing a veggie on the side. :pachaha:

I don't feel the price of groceries is out of control r/n but I also make a substantial
amount of money so I'll leave that call up to people who make way less.

Wtf does that have to do with my point. :dead:

Just because YOU are cool with shopping around and still paying inflated prices that are just lower than the other inflated prices elsewhere, doesn't make the system less exploitative.
Are you retarded... It directly relates...

I said WELCOME... I didn't say you was gonna like it or even apparently be good at it... But nonetheless, your ass is here.....

WELCOME

No... What kind of overpriced, make believe beef are you getting at $6 a pound? They got organic meat at walmart... shyt still ain't $6 for filet mignon.. You can go to the deli in publics and get real cheese for $4 a pound, so yea, enough for a week or two of sandwiches is like $2

How do people complain about prices and never complain about being overcharged?

i buy mines at walmart.... like i said its over $6 a pound :umad:

#factsnotfeelings

and i wasn't complaining about the price anyway. i buy them shyts in a 3 pack. the 20 banger :wow:

Honestly i never pay attention to the price of individual grocery items.

I just know that i should be able to fill up a grocery cart at least to this level
360_F_308144353_K2wpmwBtCpvAowfdrlcb3c7d91DHooWz.jpg

without spending more than $100 dollars.

If it goes over that amount, like say $150 i start checking the price on stuff and looking for cheaper options
I was able to do that today, all healthy food too. Cooking every meal for the week

this is retard math.

bread- $4
cheese- $2
turkey- $4
lettuce- $2

so that's $12 in ingredients which can make me 6 quality sandwiches :camby:

and I'm not including condiment prices, cuz most people have that shyt in their fridge.
Sir no. A pound of BS American cheese is almost 7. A pound of turkey is 9-10.

Even with bread and lettuce at that price, you likely need two pounds of the other jawns to make a proper lunch. So that's minimum 32 bucks, plus condiments (which why would you exclude? Lol). The 6 for the greens and bread, and that's basic.

Don't buy boars head unless you want half of the same for the price point. And Lord knows you better not have no kids.

But! There are deals out there for those of us that ain't picky.

I was thinking about buying a meat curing box, doing all my own cured meats. I’d never make an expensive ass sandwich for lunch again, all it would take is some time and some nice cheap cuts

My boy said $4 turkey….. 6 quality sandwiches :laff:

you know what they might could be correct. i forget i be buying the big ass blocks of cheese, or the organic grass fed cheese, or the cheese freshly grated in the market. no way those going for $2 but yeah maybe if i buy those little packs of like 6-7 slices of basic cheese, it might go for $2. but even then im going to buy like 3 of them and put some in the freezer, not trying to go shopping every week. it's so many variables to consider in food shopping.

turkey at my market is like 6-7 a pound.

Most of the immigrant groups in your cities aren't paying these outrageous prices people keep complaining about (and I'm not even referring to the ones receiving welfare/government assistance). People just gotta know how to shop around. In an hour you can look at over 10 weekly circulars and search for deals (if you're not in a city like NYC though, your variety may be lacking).

groceries ain't that expensive and have gone down. the staples are pretty cheap .
mostly shop at stater brothers and Costco / Sam clubs.
I'm fine with the pricing . get yourself some big rotisserie chickens for 5 bucks .
