When the George Floyd protests were going on here in Chicago these little gremlins were breaking, robbing, and vandalising businesses all over the south and west sides. They tried to go into the white and latino communities and were met with armed white and Latino men protecting their businesses. Some of them got roughed up and ran out. But they ain't try shyt with them.

Never felt more embarrassed by black men. Not because of the gremlins. Because the men in our community didn't step up and protect what little we have and tell them gremlins go home. It wasn't even a basic instinct like it was for the others. Confirmed for me that there is no community and blackness is done.

And yes, responsibility rest squarely on the shoulders of black men like it would rest on the shoulders of men of any other community.

Just about any means we have to MAKE people act a certain way is illegal. You can't beat someone into submission, that'll get you in jail. There's a reason laws exist...because reasoning with people isn't always effective...sometimes harsh repercussions are needed.

I'm not the father of these kids. They don't have to listen to or respect me. Some of them don't respect their own fathers.

You can’t fight a mindset. Unfortunately it’s like seeing your friend get bit by the zombie virus. You can still hang with him but eventually he’s gonna turn and try to attack you.

I think 40% of black people in this country can work together and rebuild for the next 30-40 years we may have a shot of having a real community. Social media, selling out, being a buffoon, attention whoring is lucrative and there’s no consequences for doing these things.

There are low tier youtubers who have made small comments about their Muslim faith or even criticized places in the middle east and they can’t even go back if they wanted. Not that I agree but at least it’s a collective effort from those countries to push back on any type of bad narratives.

The black community is tough on snitches, pedos, and rappers who claim to be real but are fake. Everything else it’s a crapshoot. It’s more practical for a large group of black professionals to move to an area and rebuild than fixing the community.

Also providing men with skills to be providers is key as well. You are less likely to do stupid shyt if you have something to lose. You got 22 year olds who can barely read, speak, or think ahead 3 years. When the men think they are only reduced to playing ball, tap dancing for the white man, doing drugs, or rap it’s not gonna end well. I don’t mind being a crash dummy if I think my life don’t matter.
