Just Monday I broke up a fight between middle schoolers. They were off school grounds but one of the parents came and got me to let me know one of them was getting jumped. Broke it up, the kids scrambles etc...Another parent had their phone out recording. Dont you know one of those lil nikkas said something crazy to her. Me and someone else caught it. I Told lil homie you aint going to do shyt all while looking him dead in his face. I was so tight, I was about to make a call.

I agree with OP to an extent that men should "step up" in a sense, but what sort of example are we setting as "men" in the community if we can't even hold discourse amongst ourselves without resorting to fighting 2-3 post in. Folks ain't even trying to find common ground to begin with, just immediate insults and absolute statements. I see it in every thread, no matter the topic.

People can't be out here drowning in vices, lacking self-discipline, void of emotional control, referring to folks as nikkas, bytches, and so on then turn around and talk "uplift" and "community." What kind of example are folks even setting as the default template for themselves before pulling out the soapboxes?
