hmmm, maybe. i'll be honest i dipped out for a bit from like 2002-2008 so i didn't witness angle when he was on top.
when i think ankle lock i think of shamrock, i really do. he was the dude that put that move on the map to me.
maybe angle did it better though
Angle's run really put the ankle lock over in the last gen though...Shamrock was done by a meaningless Jericho feud in 99

nah the more i think about it i gotta give it to shamrock. when angle put somebody in it, they always moved a lot... and if i'm not mistaken it was often countered. when shamrock did it the guy was almost always stuck flat on his stomach with nowhere to go.
plus shamrock had screws missing. he was the world's most dangerous man for a reason, because he didn't know when to stop. the absolute LAST guy you want putting the twist on that ankle. too unpredictable, too crazy. like this guy just might rip your fukkin ankle off.

Kurt in his prime was amazing in the ring, really not to be fukked with by anyone. Triple H is probably better as a character, but in the ring in his prime Kurt is waaaayyyy better than Trips
