There's a huge and relatively untapped lane for a Black Alex Jones type figure, Tariq is basically morphing into that character.
Morphing? He’s been a bullshyt peddler since I have heard about him.

I will say this though: for the most part the college educated crowd is growing everyday. Goofy stories like that are not getting oxygen in my circle.

When you understand that the forces at top do everything in their power to influence and manipulate the collective consciousness of black people it doesn’t become so far fetched I used to think all that shyt was dumb too like why would people who ran the world even care about musicians but it’s about controlling our consciousness this world is like a video game make the right choices and you win the game make the wrong ones and you’re stuck on the same level shyt goes deep and you really have to study history and things we paint as ridiculous like astrology to get the complete picture

This all one sentence. No comma. Not even a period.

This is the type of person that believes certain things.

It isn't connected or inherent to race, it is simply ignorance, lack of education, and the secular nature of people's lives, they obsess over social media, and who did what with who, but they do not understand how government institutions work, or homicide investigations for that matter. They very much live in a world where their opinions are validated by peers no matter how inane or senseless, it is really scary.

I read this op ed a while back which explained how people are so easy to sway, because they likely trust some regular person they know on facebook over, lets say the LAPD homicide teams PR spokesperson, however idiotic that is. They have no faith in experts or facts, it is all based on feelings, look at those comments "it just feels like a conspiracy", what value does that statement even have? None, but people will run with it, and then accuse you of "not having an open mind" when you contradict their laughable theories.

Psychologically, conspiracies help people make sense of what they truly don't understand, and they are comforting, in terms of

1) Giving up control to the "higher powers", so an imagined helplessness

2) Taking back control because of their knowledge
