Above the fray.
Thinking of getting my nephew a power tower and the Weider starter weight set. He's 13 now.
Too early? Was gonna give as gift for 14 birthday.

When I was younger I read about weight training possibly stunting growth of growing teens. Never knew whether it was true or not. Everybody I knew who was semi-diesel in high school was short, though.

Your thoughts or experience?

They can start working out whenever I have my little ones do calisthenics...if you are old enough to practice for sports or play you can exercise.

The whole short people were semi diesel could be cause vs effect...they were probally working out because they were short.

Should be good. Lifting doesn't really stunt growth....it's just that the guys that tend to be good lifters in middle school/early high school are often the shorter & stockier guys. Most tall brehs at age 13 are either really skinny and weak or extra chunky.
