I always took it at least somewhat seriously. I mean, I don't blame someone for not taking life seriously if they've come to terms with the fact that they're not a serious person. They just shouldn't really expect people to give them the presidential treatment everywhere they go and shouldn't expect to have their ego stroked for being an "average Joe" rather than someone who decided to strive really hard to make something of themselves.

You can never take life too seriously. Y'all were mentioning CEO's earlier, majority of them are workaholics and half are probably not happy in life. Yeah they have the money, the toys, etc, but that's not the end all be all of life. You have to find your own perfect balance of "serious" and "fun" in life
