Had my first at 39 second at 41. If I were to do a third then 45/46 would be my cut off point. But if you take care of yourself would say mid-late 40s

as a man, your first duty is continuing your house. as a father, your first duty is the security of your house.

if your meta goal is to leave a legacy behind and ensure they're comfortable in the time of your absence, then there is never an age that's too old to be a first time father

inversely, if you are not in the position to handle both then there is definitely an inappropriate age to not father a child, and that knocks out most of the bottom age ranges. and the age ranges you highlighted become the ideal.

being present in not the primary duty of fatherhood. it's secondary.

Dude had him at 52 -53 , wasn’t his 1st.I think it was his last ,but that is still too old to be having kids imo

Edit : I remember him telling me he had 2 sisters who were 26-27 years older & had nephews his age

kids deserve better. have them before 40

50 and beyond is pushing it because the kid will be 20 when you are 70 if you care about raising your own kids.

Something I’m low-key having an existential crisis about.

Turn 34 in September, Pops turns 80 in November, I’m making moves towards being where I want to financially but I’m a few years away. Flip side to that is, focus so much on the money the girl you need is gone.

Kinda scared not gonna lie lol.

But on the positive, having a child in your later years should bring more patience and wisdom you probably didn’t have in your earlier years.

Or maybe you end up a bad parent regardless of age

I never could understand why and how people can have this discussion with someone single. How do you skip the whole process of finding a compatible partner and establishing a solid relationship and foundation before bringing a child into the world.

I had relatives ask when I'm gonna have children and they acted upset when I said I'm not raw dogging randoms like my cousins did
