I would say when they're close to 40 or 40+, only because the timeline doesn't fit within the child's timeline of reaching adulthood. Life expectancy starts to deteriorate when people get into their 40s and up, as health concerns and aging become more prominent.

My mom and pop had me when they were 33 and 32, respectively; they had a few siblings a few years younger, obviously. Times have changed, a lot of Black people now have kids at much earlier ages (late teens and early 20s) than what used to be the norm (late 20s and early 30s) back in the days when most of our parents conceived us, and their parents (who would be our grandparents) conceived them.

That's why so many mothers and fathers look just as young as their teens and early 20-year-olds because they had them when they were young, so they're basically only 18-20 years older than their children, which was never the norm back then.

The other day my brother was going through my mother's old documents for some information and came across her birth certificate. It showed the age of my grandparents, both of whom have passed (grandmother passed in 1994 and grandfather passed 20 years before I was born).

Anyway, my grandmother's age was listed as 18 on my mom's birth certificate. My grandfather's age was listed as 56. I got the :wtf: look on my face. Mind you my mother has 2 older brothers close to her in age.

Granddad was a creep.

I had a homie I use to hoop with he was 25 his pops was 77-78

Dude had him at 52 -53 , wasn’t his 1st.I think it was his last ,but that is still too old to be having kids imo

Edit : I remember him telling me he had 2 sisters who were 26-27 years older & had nephews his age :pachaha:
I disagree, but in America yall have so many rules until yiur lives make no sense and you cant function.

My grandfather had his last kid at 70. I guess yall are so physically unfit/unhealthy there, yiu have health issues soon as you got 30..

Thast said, Yall have these weird rules in America these days where you dont get married and have a famiky until you have everything together in all aspects of life. Your career doesn't really get lucrative and pay off until you're around 38 anyway.

So when the hell is ideal to have kids? Not when you're young, not when you're older.. Everywhere else they get married and build as they go. The previous generations had kids and family early and after struggling until early 30s they put their money together and enjoyed their lives together in thwir late 30s, early 40s when the kids were gone or almost gone.

These days yall are so backwards and pleasure chasing/focused until 45 then have these dumb rules believing you're all wise when people in the past still made it with their "less progressive" ways and lived longer and produced a family.

being present in not the primary duty of fatherhood. it's secondary.

providing security takes primacy.
What time are you living in?

We're not living in some caveman times with the threat of some lion walking into your spot and killing your offspring while you out hunting.

Kids will remember who was at the dinner table and their games more than who paid the electric bill

It shouldn't be one or the other anyway

Triggered weirdo rambling cuz it’s not normal to be a geriatric senior citizen having kids in America or anywhere :gucci:

Lmao @ having a kid at 70 you can break your hip just picking the kid up or have a heart attack playing with them

Y’all are NOT celebs or part of the elites or 1% stop bringing them up:mjlol:

I would say you want to at least have a kid by 35-40. You want to watch them at least grow up and be in the best condition/health while doing so

Being 55 with a 10 year old or teenager
