i'm an old head, let me get that out of the way.
i started going to the gym 3 years ago.
i was doing 3-4 days a week the first year but i do 2 days a week now.
before i started going to the gym i was biking heavy, like 20-50 miles a week.
sometimes i look at people half my age and say "damn...how are you flabby and sick but i'm old enough to be your dad?"
i arm wrestled this dude at my job once.
he is almost half my age and quite a bit bigger than me.
i thought he was gonna just wash me.
we where at a stand still for over a minute, then he said "i have to stop."

i was like "really, we could keep going."
then he just let go.
that's when it really hit me that being in shape and working for it is so important.
