I think a lot of people view god as some big father figure in the sky that fixes all your problems when you ask, and so people get angry at him like hes some sort of absentee father

I imagine alot of people can't handle that fear which why they flock to religion. Nobody wants to believe that they will cease to exist one day like a thanos snap. Why do you think youre able to comprehend and conceptualize the bold when youve never experienced it?

How can "nothingness" be eternal? Thats almost an oxymoron
