I'm with you... up until 'this is all so complex and I don't have an answer therefore some Creator did it!'. I'm entirely comfortable withholding belief until there's evidence that proves all this and not just an insinuation.Just like i said in the other thread, the suns motion, the dna strand and the concept of consciousness all prove intelligent design
You have to look at our existence like a perfectly balanced system
Any divine intervention in any direction would likely throw the system completely off and destroy it
There's nothing remarkable about any of that text.NO BUT IT DOES MAKE IT SOMETHING THAT HAS VALUE TO HUMAN BEINGS AND HAS AN ELEMENT OF TRUTH TO IT. THE QURAN IS SIMPLY THR FINALIZATION OF THAT TRUTH
THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE IS AS FOLLOWS
He sends water from the sky that fills riverbeds to overflowing, each according to its measure. The stream carries on its surface a growing layer of froth, like the froth that appears when people melt metals in the fire to make ornaments and tools: in this way God illustrates truth and falsehood- the froth disappears, but what is of benefit to man stays behind- this is how God makes illustrations.
-Sura Ar-Ra'd, Ayah 17
Also, if you were an Almighty being, would some basic text like the above that can garnered by simply observing the Earth be your compelling piece of evidence that sways people into believing in you?
