So you were looking for a God to believe in?
I already believed in a creator, being alive was enough evidence for me. It was about religion and understanding the relationship between creator and created and the message.

Aight, we can just kill this discussion. I can't really have this kind of talk with people with that type of logic & intellectual dishonestyI already believed in a creator, being alive was enough evidence for me. I know a good amount & what I know can be explained through scientific means. If it can't, then I'll just say "I don't know"Makes me wonder how much you know about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and what it takes for us to be alive on this big rock but okay.

According to the coli, i posted my response 12 min before you posted this. & thats the problem with these religious texts (old texts in general), so much of it is up for intepretation, so you can assume it means anything if you want. How are you so sure "we sent yo you iron" is talking about the iron core of the earth?@NoMayo15 I can respect that and I believe that science and research are the best things to happen to religion since religion itself. It shows us the order of the universe, and reaffirms the intelligence of the design. We still don't know nearly enough and some of the greatest minds had the humility to say "I don't know" and that is something I can admire.
lol, okay, strange you typed that after I'd written my response to nomayo. So maybe you will be curious to find out why in the Quran where is says Allah created this and that He also said "We sent to you Iron". Something that we didn't know wasn't just formed here on earth until recently. An iron core without which there would be no life on earth. Another coincidence?
I don't think scientists believe in those.

And you've been using a ton of nonsequiturs throughout this thread, please stop. If you just assume something without taking the proper logical steps, then you can draw coincidences between anything
Well, obviously I can't agree with that, esp. since there are so many examples of imperfect design in the human body alone.
I think the issue is you're interpreting these passages after the fact, and giving them meaning that they didn't originally have. I mean, it's possible that the author could have known about iron ... man had been working it for millennia. But you take that to mean that they somehow knew the Earth's core was iron? I mean, that's the kind of leap in logic it takes to believe these things.
When you believe in a creator and you write we created x and we created y why then change your language to sent?
As for the human body, yes there are cases of disease and disability but for this body to work (made mostly of water and this is specifically mentioned as well), it's mind boggling to me how lightly you take it.
But I will leave you with a short chapter from the Quran
Ch.109
Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship. Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
All the best with whatever you choose.
athiests are more obsessed with religion than a lot of religious folk, its like a little brother/inferiority complex
He said he does not believe in a "creator". You cannot prove a negative. Just like I don't believe there are space unicorns orbting a random planet in the Andromeda galaxy. The burden of proof is on the person making the assertion. Are you saying you are absolutely certain that there is no creator? That is an atheist and that is why I find them arrogant and difficult to hold a conversation with them because in that case there is nothing to say.
@Commander in Chiefin I don't believe Jesus died but about the virgin birth that is very simple when you believe that man was created in the first place. That's just another creation
So you're not atheist then, you're agnostic. The difference is a massive one
Pick which ones? The commandments?
@OG_StankBrefs you don't have to get crude. Nothing wrong with editing out vulgarity

Do you also not believe that not believing is not believing in a concept that has not, not been not proven?I still believe that not believing in a creator is not a good thing.
that just sounds like you don't know how the body works. Thats not anyone's fault but your own.You are so distrustful, why would I lie about having typed up my response then seeing a new alert, but yeah okay.

Funny that you should mention human anatomy. This "creator" seems like such an incompetent and unskilled designer. What was the point of giving us tailbones, wisdom teeth or an appendix?Makes me wonder how much you know about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and what it takes for us to be alive on this big rock but okay.
