I grew up in a heavily catholic home, but for some reason i've always questioned the existence of God.. I consider myself an agnostic, but my abuela should NOT know this.. She would go crazy and think i'm possessed or someshyt..

It's because there's a lot of religious people out there that use their religion to justify outdated practices and/or engage in anti-intellectual/anti-scientific practices. It can become really problematic sometimes.

Are you saying you are absolutely certain that there is no creator? That is an atheist and that is why I find them arrogant and difficult to hold a conversation with them because in that case there is nothing to say.

When an atheist says he does not believe in "god", he can only be talking about the gods that have been presented to him
and technically that's all anyone really cares about, this strange "moving goal post" casuistry of ALL gods only appears stranger given that the usual interlocutors tend to be presenting in response to their gods having already been squarely rejected by the atheist they are talking to and mostly in an attempt only trying to re-present a cryptic iteration of the god of the gaps argument. Even when anti-theist categorically deny the very concept of god, you will find their ire firmly grounded in the repulsive qualities that the religious have sanctioned in whatever hey call god.
