More walk-able and dense cities. Not as suburban as the cities you bolded.Yes. Extremely different.
Lawrenceville is a great city to raise a family. From what I remembered, the city doesn't have much amenities compare to the inner-city of Metro Atlanta. If you don't mind traveling between 20-30 minutes to hit up the hot spot, then Lawerenceville is the city for you.I like threads like this. Although I need to visit to explore on my own. We are looking at Lawrenceville in Gwinnett county.
Man my commute from house to work is 75 miles ONE WAY. Im trying to transfer to Norcross and buy a house in Lawrenceville. 15 minute drive. I dont mind certain amenities being way out, but i dont ever want to commute to work like that again. 15-20 i can do. But 75-80 miles one way? @ 75 miles one way to work. Damn breh, yea, you seriously need to move to Gwinett County. The issue have with Gwinett is traveling on highway 85, during traffic time between 4-6 pm, when most get off from work. I don't have the patience to deal with the hectic traffic in Gwinett county. Once upon of time, I did thought about moving to Lawrenceville, but the traffic in 85 is what made me scratched the city out of my list.
