Said in the first minute and reiterated it throughout the interview,
U can’t change the Mecca. The Mecca is the Mecca. It’s where it originated.
New york is the Mecca of Rap and Atlanta is the Mecca of Trap.
NY is the Foundation, it's unmoving unless you just tear down everything...NY will forever be the root for all of this.
Atlanta/Wherever is just the current hotspot that was built on the Foundation, the old hotspot got renovated, that's all.
Yeah but atlanta is not running hiphop like they were in 2006.
Or even 5-6 years ago
This isn’t news. NYC is the birthplace but it hasn’t been the most poppin city for 15+ years
The most poppin city has nothing to do with being the Mecca. NYC is the Mecca of hip hop and u can’t change that. And it’s not like ATL the only place shakin right now. There’s hot artists from all over.
all the biggest artists aren’t from Atlanta
lowkey ATL been irrelevant since 2013
The billboards tell a different story.
The truth is Atlanta is going to hold on to this fake title forever even tho the most successful artist right now in album sales and billboards list is mostly not ATL
does any city have more rappers hotter than them?
We all know why baby is in love with Atlanta
Yes. Lol. Wtf?
ATL has also had the most 1 hit wonders.
