Vendors are leaving; mall revenues are down; drug dealers are claiming the territory -- settin' up flagship stores that distribute illegal narcotics in plain view.
Darren is committed as every single fukk. I hope that he has ZERO difficulty finding another job (cushier with no drug dealers AND WITH A HIGHER SALARY), and I hope that no minor children or innocent adults are harmed at that raggedy mall now that it is unguarded. I hope the 20,000 dollars donated to Darren are put to good use. (Darren is safer NOT working at that mall.)
Perhaps Darren was an attractive nuisance for gangstas trying to earn their stripes. I suspect that vendors would have abandoned the premises regardless if drug dealers were moving into the territory en masse.
