But real shyt, Atlanta is weird as hell with city boundaries and mailing addresses which is why I can understand the confusion from residents.

In that Decatur thread, nikkas tried to argue with me about Decatur being hood, when what they were referring to, and where most of these rappers be from, is not the City of Decatur, but unincorporated Dekalb County, that has a Decatur mailing address. Just because you have a Decatur mailing address doesn’t mean you in the City of Decatur.

Same shyt must be happening with the Atlanta Braves shyt, has an Atlanta address but is actually unincorporated Cobb County, basically Smyrna/Marietta.

Atlanta is just weird as hell.

Atlanta people are weird. Example: Miami Dolphins do not play in the City of Miami. They play in the City of Miami Gardens. Like 10 miles north. The Rams and Chargers play in Inglewood but they’re City is LA. Regular urban people rep metropolitan areas when they are away and to the public. Claiming neighborhoods and areas you’ve never been in, let alone lived is another story.

My family is from the west side my mom moved us 10 minutes down the streets to Mableton. I wish she would tell me im not from Atlanta.
