i refuse to conform
This ol sucka MC stepped up to me
Challenged Andre to a battle and I stood there patiently
As he spit and stumbled over cliches, so called freestylin
Whole purpose just to make me feel low, I guess you whylin
I say look boi, I ain't for that fukk shyt; so fukk this
Let me explain on this child style so you don't miss
I grew up to myself not round no park bench
just a nikka bustin flows off in apartments

atliens easily for me they rhyme schemes from andre was ridiculous more complicated imo

A lot of people on here would say it's better than The Infamous, I'm not one of those but yes a lot of people do prefer HOE. Never seen anyone put MM over HOE.

I think the thing with Murda Muzik is that people heard the singles and passed it off as a commercial album in a sense, take that away and I think that album was pitch perfect for the time period maybe a little more so that Hell on Earth which in 96 was one of many, in sense and never really had the chance to breathe and be appreciated until later years. Furthermore I actually think the production in MM stands up a little better, but thats just me. But at least you articulated your opinion and defended it, I just want to hear others do the same instead of voting and running away.

ATLiens easily. That's some real coming of age shyt right there. Hell On Earth is hard af too, but in this case Im going with the more emotionally meaningful album :manny:

this shyt is hard :why:

I voted HoE cuz it's more cohesive overall, but as far as lyricism and production goes they're on same level, but HoE is easier to listen fully in one listen while I usually skip tracks on ATLiens and bump some from Aquemini, STHPLM and Stankonia as well...:ahh:

Is Hell on Earth Better than the Infamous, of course not and I would argue it's not better than Murda Muzik.

If you like it better it's one thing I'm just saying ATLiens is seen as a genre defining album, you can't say the same for Hell in Earth.
ATLiens is not seen as a genre defining album. Neither is HOE. Both are classics.

I'm voting for HOE. For starters, the production is much better and the album has a cohesive dark feel. In 96 - I easily played HOE at least ten times more often. Into most of 97 as well. Prodigy > Andre on the mic. His verses on Nightime Vultures, the title track, GOD, Still Shining and Apostles Warning were exemplary. Someone said HOE got lost in the mix in 96, I don't dispute that, but so did ATLiens.

Can't take a guy that gets slapped around and thrown under cars randomly serious so Atliens on principal alone but personally Atliens resonated with me way more than Hell On Earth
