It be your own people. I had this one "looking to make a difference" male teacher at my kid's school that assumed my kids were in a single parent household. I had to set that nikka straight when I saw him.

Yea, I let it be known my daughter has her father in her life. Her mother is big on that as well, and I’m thankful. Them teachers will assume, and she’ll quickly let them know that she has a father that is in her life daily. I make sure I’m at all parent teacher conferences.
