Church is the only place where black people will unite. When politicians want the black vote, they go to the church, because they're sheep. They don't go to the educated places, they don't go to Howard, they don't go to those black Universities ya'll got. They don't go to the recreational centers, they go to the churches.

When politicians want the white vote, they go to the schools, they don't just go to the white church.

Anytime a politician wants to talk to black people. Next thing you know, they're at the church. It's very disturbing.

Guess those politicians are smarter than the black conscience/woke community...guess "educated" blacks ain't United @Wild self ,when they plan on coming together like religious people have?

Why instead of using a infrastructure that's already in place,and ripe for the picking,would you wanna tear it down in HOPES of building a new one?sounds fishy to me

Im listening to this audiobook right now and its a perfect example of how Christianity can be a force to shed light on the prevelance and persistance of racism in America. He really holds white America and particularly white Christians foot to the flame a doesnt let up. I could listen to this every Sunday.

Breaks down white supremacy, how racism is prejudice with power, America being founded on genocide and built by slavery, recent police shootings, de facto segregation and economic warfare waged on black ppl. How time wont solve racism but action from whites who benifit from its legacy today all in the context of biblical teachings.

Btw, the Sabbath is on Saturday. In 321 A.D. the Roman Emperor Constantine changed the date of worship of Christians from Saturday to Sunday so that it could be in line with the Romans date of sun worshiping. Constantine was a sun worshiper (a pagan) who made the Pope and the Roman Catholic church change biblical law. Many Christian sects have been doing it every since; save the Seventh Day Adventist and a few others who went back to the date of actual worship (Saturday).

So I don't know how any Black person believe in a benevolent loving god. I don't know how any Black person can believe in a Hell or a Savior or a Messenger.

Yeah here's the difference....black churchgoers actually follow the teachings of Christianity. On the other hand white conservative religious types are some of the most hateful people in existence. I don't know what the fukk they're teaching at those churches but they pretty much hate anyone and everybody especially if they're a different color or religion. Unfortunately in the real world its more advantageous to simply say your Christian and then do the complete opposite.

My church is full of black professionals. We run a home/halfway house for brothers being released from prison and do job training and counseling until they get on their feet. We're hosting street fairs throughout the summer giving kids free haircuts, school supplies, winter coats, etc. Fighting against police misconduct. But dumb people claim its the church that's somehow holding black people back as if black Christians haven't been on the front lines fighting for the rights of black people since we been here. People are people. There are shady folks in church and shady folks everywhere else. Not that its right but its real.
