What ever happens to you after you die, nobody can really say, because its all by faith. But the spiritual aspects of the Bible focus on nation building. Even if you take into perspective how Egyptians had influence on the Hebrews.. Lots of interesting stuff in that book.

Here's my thing; I believe if it benefits YOU as an individual, go for it
I don't believe in god, I don't like how religion can help make Black ppl lose focus on racial identity but I was raised Pentecostal, going to church as a kid was a net positive
I'm a part time musician, I learned piano in church, being exposed to music at an early age every week taught me about rhythm, (good) repetition, the relationship between progressions and mood...everything but the actual sound
If you want to self reflect, learn to enjoy a good book (the Bible is the most pop culturally referenced piece of lit,), and if you were raised religious like me, feel nostalgic, read the bible (or any religious text)...but I still don't believe it holds up as real, at all, literally it's hogwash

That nikka is a "c00n" (for lack of a better word) who thinks he's being edgy using his self hate as justification for disbelief.
Israelites during Old Testament times were frequently exposed to suffering even in the periods where God was making himself known to humanity. When you look at the sheer amount of times the Israelites were conquered in the old testament it moots the point immediately. Even Jesus suffered and lived under the Roman empire his entire life, buddy who wrote that trash should blame himself for being ugly and broke.
Secondly this world is not supposed to be suffering free. Humanity was BANISHED here as punishment from original sin. So if the world sucks, that's kind of the point.

Cause if you turn to Proverbs, chapter 8 and verse 13
There will be no question here, just as to what I mean
There is a certain notion that soon you will get
Hating the hell out of evil and loving people yet
And when you understand this, you will see what we're about
About pride and arrogance, soon you will have no doubt

Put it into context, if I lived around various denominations of Christians, like Christ did with Jews, yet I started calling myself the messiah and got a following, I would cease to be a Christian among the populace, i'd be referred to as my given title and my followers would be called Drinkyites, ot somethingthen can you really say you follow after God?
Christ gave parables and we're already saved, wouldn't it make sense to practice what he outright taught?
