nba got all these dumbass rules for salaries
Not the same situation but Knicks went through something similar with Hartenstein. They loved him but they could only offer him a certain percentage higher than his last contract. They couldn't even offer him the contract OKC gave him so it was a no brainer for him to leave.

Could been the diff between NY making the finals and maybe winning vs OKC winning lol

Good luck to y'all if you think you can build a legit contender with Austin Reaves first option ball.

:lolbron:

We won’t have to. We have Luka. All we need to do is have Reaves second option ball. Either way, Reaves is worth more than 25M a year. We getting contract year Reaves next season.

Maybe we should do Darius Bazley first option ball cause according to you he’s the future face of the league :dead:

wonder what the Pacers gon do with Myles. That nikka ain't worth 40, ain't even worth 30. 25 tops. He was making 17 million on his deal that expired now.
Heard they’re definitely resigning him

Reaves being the nucleus of a team, in any capacity, isn't winning shyt. He's a nice complementary piece and that's where it stops. You're clearly only inflating his ability and worth to the team because he's a palate cleanser to Bron. Under any other circumstances you'd balk at the thought of him being a main piece for the Lakers.

See now, this is why I know I've got you and the rest of your weed carriers eating out the palm of my hand.

Dredging up a player that I made a thread about five years ago, whom I thought had the potential to become part of OKC's core as if it's some gotcha moment is only telling on yourselves. Y'all hang onto my every word. Bazley had the tools and physical makeup, but none of the desire and mentality to continue to improve. That's just how it goes sometimes. I have no control over him not wanting to work on his game.

Once it was made evident he wasn't going to be better than what he showed during his initial years, I acknowledged the writing on the wall.

Not every player that has potential ends up being the best version of themselves.

I'm not like you who's held onto the belief that Jalen Green's got next for the last near-half a decade, all because you were enamored by how he looked, completely turning a blind eye to the fact he has no substance to his game. I told you this from the jump and still you tried to argue otherwise.

If you had your way, the Lakers would be perpetually in the lottery with first option ball of Kobe counterfeits leading the way.

If you only how ironic this was, you'd even laugh at yourself. Bruh, that's your entire M.O :dead:
