Flying to Australia tomorrow. Will be in LAX for about 12 hours. Will chill with a friend at the airport, who else nearby?
Bout to grocery shop some junk food for my trip. Sweets that are lacking or can’t find in Australia (I did my research): peanut butter flavored stuff, cinnamon, grape, cherry or maple flavored, sweet cereals like honey smacks and fruity pebbles (only in monash campus) swedish fish. pepperidge farm cookies, goldfish, chex, grits, cheese or peanut butter crackers, tootsie rolls (only in Sassafras), big red gum (only in Ivanhoe), girlscout cookies, jollyranchers (only at usafoods), airheads, sushi, health bars, moonpies, graham crackers, cheeze its, fruity gum, banana peppers.
Not getting all of that tho.

For 6 months on a work visa then I'm coming back. It's the country with the highest Min wage at $15/hr.

I've visited twice and encountered no racism or crime and compared to where I live in the deep racist south of USA it's a much safer place to raise my son.
Are there any places you've ever considered moving to but unsure of making the jump?
