I can't possibly imagine why people are paying so much to see something this fukkin MID. :unimpressed:

For someone bashing comic movies, it's kinda ridiculous he managed to write a story worse than one.
How do you know it's mid if you haven't seen it?

Somehow it is. Being forgettable is worse than being bad imo. :manny:

That's only on the second one.

I thought about going to the movies just to get that high-quality movie experience again, but then I tried remembering what the first movie was all about.

I couldn't even remember the blue guy had a chick, let alone the antagonist or wtf the movie was about. 2012 did what Avatar 1 wanted to do better.:mjlol:
Nope ain't see it yet
Bet it clears them both

First movie, The Coli's posts about the second, and a friend that was mad af because "They have resold the same fukking movie. Only longer. This is a natgeo doc" :lolbron:

Now, you probably watched it, so you can confirm this or not.

Isn't Avatar 2 the same theater/IMAX-oriented experience with a heavy focus on visually impressive shots, a :mjpls: plot revolving white people wanting to colonize the natives and them getting bailed by the white savior dude, but with the difference that the dude got a family now and because of that there are a lot of family dynamics that come into play including the sequel hook of the kids potentially taking the mantle?

I'm sure it's a visual spectacle, don't get me wrong.

I'm also sure it sucks ass and isn't even worth mentioning outside of a high-quality theater. :mjlol:

People that expected anything more than that definitely got no one to blame but themselves, everybody knows what this franchise is about. :manny:

the ether
Might be the most generic, contrived, uninspired plot of any movie I’ve watched in theaters
Good visuals though

First movie was wack to me. Damn sure don’t need a sequel

I realized the other day that it's been over 30 years since James Cameron made a flick with a plot i still cared about after the movie was over.

Yeah, if you're big on the theater experience, this is definitely something you wanna get that IMAX ticket for. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

It's just no masterpiece. Man was shytting on comic book movies but he did the same kind of movie without a comic backing it up. :mjlol:
