Quaritch and Varang show up to take Neytiri, the baby and Tuk.

Jakesully, Lo'Ak, Spider and Kiri show up and wreak havoc. Kiri takes out Varang by connecting with her and overpowering her, after which Varang bolts and deserts everybody.

All the boats get sucked into that vortex thing and Quaritch and Jake end up fighting mid air. Spider joins to try and help Jake but when he falls off Quaritch and Jake work together to try and save him.

Jake and Quaritch kind of have a moment of reconciliation but Neytiri shows up with a gang of Navi who want to kill Quaritch. Jake tries stopping them, but Quaritch jumps off seemingly into his death (not shown so assume he's alive).

I think you've seen EWA helping out the good guys already, but the movie ends with Kiri taking Spider into EWA, and all the spirits of the dead Navi accepting him as one of them.
thanks mayne sounds like a nothingburger bridge into Avatar 4.

Just got out of this joint

Most pointless third entry ever :mjlol:

But srsly the action and effects were on point as usual. Plotwise it was the most mundane of the three and you can tell it was filmed b2b from The Way of Water. I thought the latter was different enough to stand by itself as a good Avatar movie. This one was waaaaaay too much of a piggyback. They didn't do enough to differentiate the Ash (:mjpls:) people besides being some violent hooligans. This should of been incorporated majorly in the area they were going to show in Pandora.

The main Ash woman is absolute trash BTW. Lesson to be learned that if you give a b**** a uzi and stand on business while d'ing her down she'll fall in line lol. Quaritch is still a major hater, the amount of fakes out were od, but the family moments were nice.

Doesn't need another movie end the series.

Ight, this should be the last one of these. This shyt was a two pack of ass. James Cameron has lost any imagination he once had. At it’s best it’s a boring, way too long, visual spectacle. At its worst, it’s one of the most tone deaf, damn near racist pieces of shyt I’ve ever sat through

Avatar 4 (2029)

A fourth film is planned for release on December 21, 2029. Jon Landau said that, due to a six-year time skip in the first act, a third of Avatar 4 has already been filmed to account for the aging of the child actors, and on September 9, 2022, it was announced at the D23 Expo that principal photography had officially begun for Avatar 4. However, in January 2024, Cameron said that he would not continue filming the remainder of Avatar 4 until after the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Avatar 5 (2031)

A fifth film has been announced and is scheduled for December 19, 2031. Jon Landau stated that part of Avatar 5 will take place on Earth, with Neytiri visiting the planet. Cameron stated that Avatar: The Quest for Eywa is being considered as a possible title for the fifth film.

It was pretty straight. Think I appreciate the emotional weight the previous film had over this one more tho. Moments of that brilliance here that felt muddled by how messy things got in the second half. There were also multiple points where I felt like it could’ve taken risks to bring the story to greater heights, but Cameron hit that D-Wade pump fake in the end. Overall, I was entertained. These flicks will always be a visual feast in the theater, but I’m still not compelled to re-visit at home...my sentiments haven't really changed on that front.

shyt will have no problem making its money and then some. I still remember all the hysteria in the previous thread during those first two weeks of release, only for it to do what it did in the end. Cameron just has that touch with the audiences.

It was looking like Varang would prove to be a worthy threat here, and for a minute she actually does spice things up...only to then devolve into who is essentially Colonel's side-bytch the rest of the way. She literally scurries off never to be seen again. :dead:

When she blew that shyt up man's nose, all I could think of

and that one trippy ass mission in FarCry 3.

Had bro in the warpaint and everything near the end. Just how good was the Na'vussy?! :mindblown:

Saw this in Dolby 3D, once again a truly beautiful film, I don't usually like HFR but it was done well here. Varang is easily the best character and Oona Chaplin smoked the motion capture.

While I liked this more than Way of Water, again the plot is thin, the acting is bland and this had no right to be more than 3 hours, I don't give a fukk about the Pandoran whale community and what they talking bout. if you're not seeing this in premium format then you might as well skip it.

Varang put that thang on Quaritch, had him thinking he was part of the culture :mjlol:, but I disliked what they reduced her to :francis:

So YOU don't care about the story because you don't understand it?

I fully understand the story but I still don't like it, just like how I understand why it's cold in winter it doesn't mean I have to like it.
