i actually think Endgame was a great representation of our actual Endgame. Right after that shyt, the MCU died, covid hit, Trump came back, there are like 4 good movies made every year. tv is fukkin stale, the event film is on it's deathbed. theaters are dying, AI crap is taking over etc. not even getting into how much every other aspect of modern life fukkin sucks...

they basically need to recapture like 50% of Infinity War/Endgame to at least give us a little fix and remind us of "better" times, but it's gonna wear off like 15 minutes after you leave the theater.

Endgame was the end of the MCU, which wasn't very good to begin with. In fact, about 80% of the MCU is terrible.

There have been plenty of quality shows and films released since. The demise of the MCU (and comic book movies in general) is welcomed

Thats a dope theory and i hope the Russos can make a coherent story out of this mess. It looks like the children of the heroes will be a big part of doom’s plans. I forgot all about Thor’s daughter Love from the last movie. Is steves Kid comic canon and super powered?

Yikes imagine being a Sam Wilson fan (if any exist) just relegated to a cheap knock off and inferior copy. Hence why I have never been cool with the “black” version of said characters because they will always pale to the original. Marvel going to have these nikkas playing these characters until they officially retire as actors and then will throw them the bag for grandpa version of avengers.

This will make money, but be a disappointment as many factors went into this...

• Feige should have stepped down Endgame because burnout was going to happen.
• The MCU should have stopped for a few years after Chadwick's death because he was a key part.
• Too many projects that were interconnecting.
• The mad scramble after Majors firing.

This is a very disorganized buildup to a Avengers movie that has 0 build, with the promise of Dr. Doom, in which the casual fan has no idea of except for people in the know... and even then the announcement of Downey Jr. coming back gave impressions of a project in major trouble.
