i think the worst part of this might be that they had the F4 movie, that laid almost 0 groundwork, and now we have to spend more time with those bores

I liked the 'F4' movie but I hear you. Everyone expected that movie to do the heavy lifting for the plot to this one and it did none of that.

This reads like a troll. Its pulls from several different comics and some live action DC properties, Peacemaker and Flash. There's too much going back and forth going on. Thr audience can't follow in under 3hrs.

That shytty ass director's Snyder league film has more focus.

Nope. Hickman has no ties with Marvel Studios.

He either doesn't care about the MCU or has an ax to grind (might be the way Marvel Studios/Disney don't pay writers for their creations even after profiting like crazy from them) because he even rejected and invitation from them when they flew a ton of former F4 writers to a day on set
