Same actors just now more comic accurate, like what we saw with the Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to be the originals because the original fox-men continuity was not consistent and contradicted itself.

The multiverse aspect allows them to create a new MCU Fox-Men universe. That’s why you have Cyclops in a comic accurate costume and giant comic accurate sentinels.

I say this cause watching DOFP, they reconned everything from any FOX movie before, made the younger into the older directly, and never showed the older X-Men suit up... So technically these could be the same ones and not break continuity by saying DOFP makes X-men 1,2 and 3 erased

THIS MAKES THE MOST SENSE....

I read somewhere u should just look at the fox x-men universe now as a branched timeline from the ending of days of future past. That makes the most sense to me.

The lore and verse of the past and a working universe, have the original Avengers that left have their legacy without outshining the replacement. Iron man wasn’t an A tier hero the cinematic universe and Downey made him that. They think because the phase after end game failed they need to go back instead of truly looking at why it failed due to poor choices and bad story telling.

Thats the huge weakness of Feige and those behind him...now the Avengers did very good as a replacement for what should of been the X men this whole time..the X Men were the true #1 property in Marvel above EVERYBODY. Above everyone in DC too. This is was what they had to resort to because Fox had the x men characters..Iron Man was a c level character all of the 90s and early 2000s. Top 3 in the Avengers but they never sold. Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet saga was proven in comics. It was missing the Silver Surfer but it still worked because he's a cosmic Dr Doom except he does everything for Lady Death.

Doom is must see if presented correctly..but do we get Molecule Man or the Beyonder too? Should be intriguing.
