Hes great and dominant in a rap game full of mostly soup cans,or nikkas who simply don't do it all...I give Drake credit for being able to hit all facets and all demographics somewhat(or whoever the credit should go to:sas1:),but saying he had a run is almost like saying Eminem had a run,Ja Rule or Nelly had a run....How respectable is the run to who it matters too:jbhmm:?

The streets don't fukk with Drake like that, soon as a rapper came and locked the streets for a year, its pretty much unanimous in the hiphop world that the street rapper had the best year(Future:blessed:)....not to mention Kendrick had a better year when GKMC dropped critically speaking, respect from peers and hiphop fans alike,i believe that year will be remembered as Kendricks year and the year GKMC dropped....like 2015 will be remembered as Futures year where he went on that crazy run of classic tapes....they wont be remembered as the year Drake dropped whatever forgettable album or club records he dropped, the charts aint all that come into account with a run,its a feeling:blessing:.

Drake is the Ja Rule of our time, cant deny the hits but its a run people really have no attachment to,and will be over as soon as a street rapper who can do it all comes forward:banderas:

That street rapper was Meek, bit he dropped the ball :ld:

At this point, only Drake can phase Drake out.

Yeah Drake's run is past the "flash in the pan" phase. He doesn't have the record sales to match his predecessors (different era) but he has a grip on his generation like Jay had on his in terms of what he means to them. Drake's throwaway tracks are anthems to the 16-25 demographic.

His only problem is he has no classic albums or singles. He has a lot of hits. But he doesn't have anything that 10 years from now people will be hailing as a musical classic.

Drake's grip on this generation is bigger than Jay ever had

Drake's run didn't really start until NWTS.... you can't say he was on top in 2011 when Carter 4 and Watch the Throne both came out that same year. I would say Drake's run on top alone is only maybe two years, and that's mostly because Wayne fell off, Kanye fell back and focused more on fashion and Jay fell back and focused on learning how to swim

2015 was undeniably Future.

So Drake's run is basically 2013-2015

I disagree with the last part. I believe his So Far Gone project is a classic.
