NJ banned bags. You either have to bring your own or pay for one in the store. So when I scan, I put it right back in the cart which is on the floor.

And the spotters are underpaid so they don’t be paying attention. As far as technology, it depends on the store. Most don’t have it.

Man any time I’ve been at Walmart it doesn’t matter if there’s one cashier or twenty. I think they train them to scan items as slow as humanly possible. I use the self checkout all the time and I only ever get asked to show a receipt if something isn’t bagged.

I used to steal so much from Walmart when I was on my shifty shyt. Pay for like 40 dollars of groceries and leave a1 cut meats on the bottom of the cart. It’s usually some immigrant, minority working and they give zero fukks.

I got pissed off the other day. You had like 4 employees just sitting there watching the self checkouts, but there was not one lane open for a cashier. This was like 3 in the afternoon. Be having to much shyt to be doing that self checkout

Over hyping the situation.

For example we have the hand hel scanners and you scan as you shop. We were randomly basket checked and I forgot to scan two bottles of tomatoes or something and they said they had to rescan the whole basket.

I was easy, the sales assistant was easy and it was about a £3 difference. I have my loyalty card to automatically pay for everything and keep my receipts so I’ll have no issue.

If I legit forget to scan something I’ll take the L on that. I’d rather the off chance of that happening vs waiting in line to pay for 10 items.
