i just got it and have never shot a real gun in my life. But I pretty much know the fundamentals as far as how to load, unload and clearing the chamber and all that.

My advice is to go with a friend. There's some dry firing options and tips in the coli gun thread. I put up some dry firing tutorials too. That indoor practice makes you get the most out of your range time.
