Yeah, not barefoot, but most could do that with proper shoes, I wouldn't do it if I had the option to secure myself to a line though.

The point of the video was the monk doing it barefoot which is an impossible feet for 99% of the population

i think part of it is the monk knew the best path to take for the least amount of incline, you see him zig zag a bit at the top like he's following a path. The person with the rope looked like they were at an even steeper angle than the side the monk was on.

That side also may have had better traction/grip

Yeah, no fukking duh, I'm agreeing with your take, but you are so quick to act like a smart ass, that it goes over your head. Most aren't doing that barefoot because they will lack the traction to do it, couple that with higher likelihood of sweating from their feet, and it's going to be too slick to traverse at a straight incline, but it could be doable with chalk.

And I wouldn't say the point of the video is him doing it barefoot, as @Luke Cage put it and if you follow free climbing, experienced climbers can spot paths for an easier traversal.

Bare feet aside.. I don't think it's that serious

I might not do it with a straight back and poise like the monk but you don't need a rope for that shyt :dead:
