We saw Journee Smollett's whole ass in the latest episode and all anyone here can talk about is the (clothed) gay sex scene. lol Wow.
Gay people existed, exist and will always exist whether you like it or not. You don’t have to watch gay scenes if it bothers you that much, but to say there shouldn't be gay characters AT ALL is wildly ignorant. The only agenda is to normalize homosexuality so people aren't fkking killed for being gay. That's it. Ain’t no Man in Black with the objective of making every Black man in the world gay. lol That's not how sexuality works. Seeing gay sht won't suddenly make you desire dck and ass. If sexuality was that easy to manipulate, there wouldn't be any gay people whatsoever. Until very recently, gays didn't have a lot of representation in the shows they liked.

We beyond the point of the endless "coming out" subplots, there are actual sex scenes in shows with a plot about hackers, a show about superheroes, every superhero show, most of netflix original content, a segregation era horror show that inserted this subplot THAT WAS NOT in the original book its based on. Oh well. There will be other shows to watch though I really need to do my homework on the source material. Good thing I prefer boxing, YT videos and reading over these new series.
Admittedly, I do not watch many series. Too much of a commitment and HBO has it on a weekly basis, whereas you can usually pick 2-3 shows on Netflix.
They have one called Nurse Rachet I believe coming out. Will give it a chance. And if they in that time, will let you other guys enjoy it.

Adaptations deviate from the source material ALL the time though. Christina Braithwaite wasn't in the book either, but no one is complaining about that.
We have to wait until the season finishes before we see how the scene connects with the show's themes, plot etc.
