You can claim 10 dependent and come tax time it will all adjust



Basically you aren't entitled to a refund . It's called a refund for a reason

i know im just confused because i always used to get something even if it was only $500. now i make a little more(same tax bracket tho) and i owe even tho i paid all year. shyt is confusing. ima have to get a tax for dummies book or someshyt.

the fukked up part is turbo tax wants me to pay $70 to file this shyt. so on top of owing i also gotta pay a filing fee

Claiming kids enables you to get the earned income credit which is like 3900 bucks minimum for 1 kid.Only way you'll get a refund not claiming kids is if you have low income.

At $33K if you claimed 0 they will want more. You have to claim 1 all year to get anything back

yea thats what i read. if u set your withholding at 0, they take MORE during the year which gets u a bigger return at the end. but the higher the withholdings, the less they take DURING the year entitling you to LESS during tax season

I'm not sure about this but I believe cuz your baby will be born in september you can only get credit for the last 4 months compared to the whole 12 months.That's why I said january '17
