that shyt is risky. im already 5k in debt with uncle sam for a previous failed scam. i got away with it in 07 but '10 came back n bit me. im trying to be legit.

i wasnt gonna sniff a refund anyway cause they woulda took it but i wanted to pay off some of that debt, not owe more.

WHen you claim 0 they take more out of your check PER PAYCHECK. But when you file at the end of the year you should get more.

The higher the number you claim DURING THE YEAR the less taxes they take PER PAYCHECK so at the end of the year when you file it becomes less of a return.

Than you can't use the Standard Deduction

Life would be so much easier if you could combine Itemized deductions + Standard

an experienced accountant would help you reduce the amount by adding legit deductions that normal people would over look...did you move last year? you can deduct that.

At $33K if you claimed 0 they will want more. You have to claim 1 all year to get anything back

Until you make $70K and up claiming 1 you have absolutely no clue what being fukked in the ass by the IRS with a spiked baseball bat feels like.

You are not entitled to a refund by any means
You pay Medicare
You pay Social security
You pay your federal and states taxes.If you overpay on state or federal, then you get a refund. If you have deductions or tax breaks then you get a refund.

I changed my w4 today tho and my state withholding too. Made it so that they keep an additional amount so that it covers whatever ima owe next year and then some. U live n u learn.
