He didn't earn it in pre-season, and he's not doing shyt through the first 2 games to validate Billy's decision either.
He's gotten 3 rebounds in 52 minutes. Taken 11 shots through 2 games. 0 assists. Against the Heat he was the only starter with a negative +/-
Honestly, Dalen Terry should get some of this nikka's minutes and I've been one of the biggest Pat defenders since he was drafted. Better off playing a guy that is more of a real glue guy with decent size. The Bulls have been playing 4 guards for some stretches thus far as well. Pat's size isn't even a factor for the most part.
The coaching staff needs to really think about how they're going to proceed with this dude. If he's going to play no matter what due to where he was picked, then they should play and feature him with the bench. That isn't happening now and he's not going out there and "getting his own" or even impacting the game in other categories other than scoring.
I put this on the coaching staff just as much as Pat at this point.

He is a 4th pick, we took him off the table in trade talks and it's year 3 for him. "Invisible " shouldn't be associated with him at all.I don't think the Bulls need to give up on Pat just yet. However the excuses for him need to stop. Fans have evey right to be concerned about his play. No one expects him to come out and average 25 but he can't be as invisible as he has been for the past few games. I hardly noticed him on the court last night.
