another :flabbynsick: artist re-making an album that wasn't a classic in the first place

hopefully it will be better than "loso's way 2" :snoop:

"Doe or Die" wasn't Classic but it was a solid 4 maybe even 4.5 MICS and it's most definitely better than a lot of mess being released today. AZ went in on it. His 2nd album "Pieces of Man" was solid too. AZ has always been an artist I check for. His NaS connection obviously brought me in but I've always respected him as a lyricist. I hope Premo gets on it.

the hell else Premier got going on? his Ducktales riddled 'label' :beli:

Buckwild is still dope, his sound just isnt in demand. L.E.S. is risky dude has not brought consistent heat since the early 00's, his beat on Mega's last album was very Larry

Pete is wild inconsistent but he can still bring it, id like to think he knows what AZ wants and would not come with any keyboard crap

AZ - The Come Up (Prod. By DJ Premier) - YouTube

AZ is cool, and I actually have both of those albums in their physical CD form. but neither of them are anything close to what I'd condier a classic.

Good to see L.E.S. and AZ working together again. "Take It Off" was nowhere near "Sugar Hill", but one can hold out hope that AZ and L.E.S. can come up with something special.

If "Moving Up" is any indication, this will be a nice album. It's the first AZ album that I'll be checking for since The Format.

I hate sequels 10 years after the fact, especially when the artists is WELL past their prime. I'd call the original a borderline classic.

Hopefully he surprises me and delivers something decent.

AZ is past his prime? my man you need some XXL q-tips then

"I'm too ahead of my time to be a has-been.." :whew: -AZ on "We Movin" first single off Doe or Die 2

when it comes to sequels the only ones I know of are raekwon and cnn's. both were dope as fukk so I don't see the issue.
