I can't remember the last time I heard a LES beat I liked. Pete Rock has been mediocre for a decade now. Preimer ain't put out a hot beat in 3 years or so. Statik has oversaturated the market with subpar beats.

That said, if any of these guys even bring their A game, this album will be serious.

I love AZ as much as anyone else in this universe but I have a feeling him reaching Dre is as good as an unsigned rapper trying to get dre to click on his soundcloud link

Lets put it this way, LeBron has a better relationship with Dre than AZ and that's cuz Bron put Dre on hold so he can "Finish up" while practicing!

But really all he needs is Alchemist who's just been on FIRE the past decade!

The people who are gonna buy this album are 40 years old. If its still dough or die at 40 when you have kids and a family i believe AZ has been hustling backwards for the last 15 years.

would be quite pleasing to see AZ put out a great album in 2013.

to be honest, i hope Statik isn't handling the bulk of the album...haven't really enjoyed an album that he handled the bulk of since Grey Hairs..maybe the one with Bronson but i don't listen to it often... but to be fair to Statik, i do like the beat for that newest AZ song.
