NY all day..Da Stead & BK..

1:46 mark is why they dissed Chubb Rock, to B-Real he mockingly used their cadence on How I Can Just Kill A Man, and instead of "time for some action" he says "time for some lyrics". But I don't think he was dissing them.

Yea them nikkas was sensitive as fukk. He def wasn’t dissin them. Lol. Atleast it doesn’t seem like it.

Black Sunday album still goes imo.

So does their debut. shyt is a classic.

I'm :dead: at people that never even mentioned Chubb Rock in any capacity since the site opened talking about ">>>>> Cypress Hill".

What's next, "Boogiemonsters >>>>>>>>>>> Wu-Tang"? :mjlol:

They fell off a cliff around their 3rd album then basically turned into alternative hip-hop but "Hand On The Pump" alone >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chubb Rock and Kid Frost.

Chubb was so underrated. Now he's barely a blip on most people radar. It puts generational warfare into perspective as far as Hip Hop is concerned. "TREAT EM RIGHT" Should still get play as an anthem today.
Facts. His run doesn't get the respect it deserves

I feel the same way about Howie Tee. The stuff he produced for Chubb Rock, Special Ed, Color Me Badd, Lil Vicious goes under the radar.

I mean Chubb Rock is far better rapper than B Real, by leaps and bounds but yeah I disagree that Cypress Hill music didn't age well. I fukk with their first 2 albums.

Chubb Rock is a better rapper but I'd be lying if I said I'd rather listen to his shyt than either of the first two Cypress albums. And I'm saying this as someone that is old enough to remember his run in real time.

And people gotta be outright trolling talking about Kid Frost is better.

I get what you saying, but if we talking hip hop then Chubb>>>BReal. His verse on Crooklyn>>> anything that Breal ever spit. As for Frost...:yeshrug:. Maybe those that know are just pissed he went at Rock like that. Fact of the matter is cypress is nothing without Muggs.

Yeah. Chubb has 5 or 10 songs that are way better than any Cypress song if we're talking MCing.
