Off two spins…it’s a decent project. Some cool tracks, but nothing special. I did like the mini documentaries he was dropping leading up to the album and the subject matter throughout the album. But there’s nothing special or unique about Keem. Bruh just seems like a science project for Kendrick and PGLang. Not saying that Kendrick can’t put his family on. But Keem doesn’t have his own style, flow, visuals, or even look. I get that Kendrick is mentoring him, but homie needs to find his own style/sound. Homie is using the same cadence, pitches, and flows as Kendrick on the majority of these tracks. I mean, one track sounded like some shyt from Section 80 lol. This isn’t unique to Keem tho, it takes a while for some rappers to find their style/sound. I mean, remember when Kendrick was rapping like Wayne on that C4 mixtape. I think Kendrick should push bruh to find own identity instead of wearing his inspiration on his chest. I’ll give it a 7/10.
I know cube and del are cousins but aren’t they the same age? I think it’s damn near impossible to have your older cousin be a rap mega star and sound nothing like him when you grew up watching him work on music :yeshrug:

It's dope. But these bot nikkas finna start hating Roc Marci now cause I mentioned him in this thread. Mentally ill muthafukkas. Lol

Roc is dope but he is extremely one note in his flow, content and production.

Listened to this a couple more times on a run today, "Birds and Bees", "Good Flirt", Highway 95 PT 2", "House Money" and "No Blame" are all on repeat.

Only song I don't really fukk with is the Too Short joint, it just sounds like a redundant Too Short track we've all heard before.

Yea this only gets better with every listen. Short and concise. He's got a knack for Kendricks ability to come up with catchy hooks and melodies. It's prolly why Kendrick took a liking to him.

Don't really like the voice cracking shyt he does sometimes. Trying too hard to sound like Kendrick. He's better off just using his regular voice. But I think keem is always gonna be an artist that needs a writing team around him. Don't think he'll ever be a great lyricist or songwriter on his own. But he's got natural musical talent and the ability to get hooks and flows stuck in your head. Which is probably the most valuable skill to have in this game. This is just a very enjoyable and easy listen all the way through. Solid 8/10.
