Knew he was young...didn't know he was that young, he's just a couple years older than BG...nikka was a shooter/muscle for Baby and Slim, got knocked at just 21...couple months before they scored the Universal deal and is spending the rest of his life in prison without getting to enjoy any of the super-balling...tough break

Puff and Birdman's resources are long enough to make an artist "FEEL RICH" in the beginning stages of the deal, but when it's all said in done....these MOGULS is gonna definitly come out on top regardless
unfortunatly alot of artists still run to them in hopes of getting signed disregarding the fact that thier not going to empower you unless you have some "leverage" of your own i.e (independent, liquid assets)
You gotta come at them at a BOSS LEVEL or you'll be in the same stage as these artists complaining about being "raped" for royalties and publishing.
gotta give it up to 2Chainz and TRAVIS PORTER both whom avoided the "bait and switch" that Birdman and Diddy offered these artists...
2Chainz spoke in that cocaine cowboy documentary about how he could have been in the YMCMB camp and that Birdman was hollering at Luda real hard about releasing him and having them in their camp, but basically 2Chainz realized the benifit of having some "soverignty" and building his own brand without the Birdman cosign which would have longterm rammifications, even though he highly respects Birdman and considers him a friend.
TRAVIS PORTER spoke in this interview about how they TURN DOWN DIDDY's attempt to sign them because in thier words.."the upfront money looked REAL GOOD...but the BACK END wasn't right"....
