Just think about this:

When you tell someone under 25 to "roll down the window"...They dont understand where the "ROLL" part of that expression comes from :jbhmm:

Seriously

You got millenials holding on the 90s for dear life. Kids dressing retro and shyt lol. Kids stanning Fresh prince and Jordans and shyt

Yeah bruh, that comment I quoted was weird. Folk been stanning the 90s damn near since the 90s ended. I get it, we can all appreciate older eras, but it's about time to move on. The funny thing is it's people who can barely even remember the 90s who stan almost as hard as people who lived thru it with a full memory...

I've said on here recently, my earliest memory isn't until '93 (year I turned 4). I have no memories from 90-92 at all, and from 93-96 I have some definitely, not in spades but i have some...

My memory doesn't really take off until my 3rd grade year, '97, so i have a ton of memories from the late-90s. And my own personal opinion, the 90s were cool. I enjoyed it as a kid, there are some nice nostalgia I get with some of the things posted here, but in real time it wasn't like "oh my God I can't believe I'm in the 90s". In the 00s I never had the Standemonium to go back to the 90s that others have...

It was cool for what it was, there are things I really miss and I appreciate that part of my rearing was in that era, but I'm glad life always evolves and don't wish to go back to it. I can't imagine being one of these "stuck in a moment in time" people you come across...

The era I really wished I coulda lived thru is the 80s...

CD's getting scratched up inside the player in your car due to excessive bumps on the road.

Remember those windows that couldnt roll up all the way. So you had to plant both palms on the glass and push it up yourself:russ:

Wht made me realize that they dont know what the "roll" part means is when my boy got an old Wrangler and his daughter was in the car with him. She came up to me later and was like "did you see dad's new car? ....he has to do something with his arms to get the window up and down" :deadmanny:

Outside of those horrible pants that all the Marilyn Manson fans wore, I really do miss the GOAT decade. I wasn't born at the time but according to my mom the 70s had the same type of feel for her.
