Back in the 90’s did black men create the monster that we’re fighting now by lying to all black women about them being queens

Stop this whole black men are victims of black women bullshyt. It's a new grift, and it's fukked up. We have entire decades where black women were demoralized and talked down to by us in all forms of media. Now some of y'all want to take the incel/redpill route and cry because it's not the 50's. Kevin Samuel's and Andrew Tate are mind fukking you guys into being lonely individuals who pay them for advice on how to never get laid.

We've sugarcoated, pandered and lied so much to Black Women that they can't accept any harsh truths. Truth is bashing and tearing down now.

We've ruined our women with all of our lies. At first we were trying to uplift and protect our women by lying. Then we started lying to get in their pants.

Divide and conquer has been an effective strategy used against the black man and woman.

We’ve eaten the stereotypes up to the point that we’ve started believing them ourselves.

White men didn’t respect their own women. They had ours doing the work of men. In many ways we have repeated this behavior. This predates 90s Gangsta Rap or Hip Hop.

Ma'am black women for the most call other black women ugly ass bytches.

Black women cause and do more harm to other black women with these sayings than men, but yet you put everything on black men. Stop it ma'am.

If anything, black women are the ones tearing other black women down on some jealous stuff. Women are more quick to hate on another black women, even their own friend

But you don't wanna go down that hole though. Y'all poor, middle class and those with money look down on your own sisters, and it be on some of the silliest shyt, y'all are quick to shyt on your own black woman faster than most men
Women fall out with women all that time. I can't tell you how many women I met who have said, I don't have female friends, I only hang out with dudes etc.

You don't hear black men saying, I don't have male friends, all I hang out is females. You don't hear stories of black men going on guys trips and coming back mad at one another, but you do hear it amongst black women, girls trips be a mess and y'all be at each other necks calling each other this and that

Please stop it
You are deflecting and all over the place. Thread topic is literally about whether black men impacted blk women with all that “queen” stuff. I just gave examples on some “nah” because of how casual disrespect of black women has been apart of our culture for decades. I didn’t even get into the colorism shyt. I acknowledged it was a two-way street and now you are trying to rewrite history to absolve blk men who participated of any accountablility. I’m not going to deny the shyt I saw just to save face online. If you didn’t see this stuff going down, it’s whatever. I did and apparently several others have too.:yeshrug:

Results may vary. And just because I wasn’t in college in the 90s doesn’t mean my friends and family weren’t. They can tell you how shyt went down.

Always so eloquently said! ❤️
Thanks but we’ve reached this part of the show where we are in denial or mad and denying other people’s actual experiences. :deadrose: Straight denial of reality usually signals the end of any useful discourse.
We are a roasting culture and have been showing our asses to each other with brief periods of “black love” displayed for decades. It is what it is at this point.

Lol! Add these to the list too.
I forgot “bedwenches”, “cockroach” “beady bead headed” “bytch look like she from Africa”, “manly” “non-submissive” “bulldogs” “nasty” “buss down” “jezebel” “fast” when trying to adultify young black girls or hypersexualize them to justify pedophilic tendencies, “hairhats hooligans” “combative” “aggressive” “attitudinal” “bald-headed bytches” “nappy headed bytches” “scallywag” “ghetto hoe” “bytches with useless degrees” “single moms good for nothing but a bussdown” “goofy bytches” “tainted” “they the problem with the black community” “welfare queen”

:deadrose: I dunno why people act brand new with this shyt. 90s were raw and uncut and no black woman was ever spared casual disrespect. I mean there were chicks protesting it in the 90s and they got told to
icecube-shut-up.gif

Same dudes today be :sadbron::damn::damn:when City girls say “fukk them nikkas”.

It all comes full circle.:yeshrug:
Where did you grow up?! Hairhat hooligans, bed wenches, bulldogs, cockroaches, beady bead(outside of Martin?!), “bytch look like she from Africa”, you heard or were called ALL this shyt in the 90s?! 😀 Yeah aight

I grew up in the dirty south. Where neighborhood boys were trying their hardest to boss up by emulating a lot of “gangsta” shyt…but nobody actually took them seriously initially. :mjlol:
I remember some dudes getting checked and by groups of chicks for trying it. That was k-12. You don’t remember “bald-head scallywag, you don’t know how to act” culture?

You don’t remember Uncle Luke era? Or dudes and chicks trying to imitate toxic relationship shyt they heard like the beginning of that DMX song. “Who dikk you sukkin?”:mjlol: Why are people pretending there wasn’t some grimey shyt going down in the 90s? And it was seeping throughout our community, not just in the streets. Even R&B doo wop dudes and chicks were trying to be “hard”. For the longest time, nobody took these cats seriously but then somewhere along the way it became glamorized and subculture became pop culture.

Somebody’s bible thumping mama right now was wildin at Freaknik or Black biker’s week back in the 90s.
Somebody’s father was doing some demonic shyt back in the 90s.

And if you don’t know…now you know.

The king and queen shyt is stupid

And the disrespect isn’t one sided, black men were more crude and vulgar against black women and used rap. Black women also used the media but has academia incentivizing borderline race realism pseudoscience about black men

this is such a trash ass thread, from the OP to all the comments. BM hatred from BW didn’t come out of thin air. That’s why some BM tried so hard to over correct this behavior, but it’s to the point where it’s backfired.

not only do y’all refuse to acknowledge your part in a problem, you also refuse to re-adjust the solution that was given.

No deflecting or anything, I am telling you what I saw in college and how the climate was in the 90s. I also acknowledge where the energy was coming mainly in black society where you pivoted and said that urban black dudes wanted street cred for saying these things in which I said for every 1 black male who you said were saying these things, you had 4-5 cacs and Asians saying the same thing, or wanting the street cred.

I also said, women cause more harm towards women than men

Women are the ones who project the colorism arguments, most media, are ran by women who push the agenda of colorism. Whose on these covers, in these movie roles, casting these folks. Whose supports these movies, TV shows etc.

Let's go down that road. Other and a few dusty rappers, and I really can't name a lot in the 90s that were on that colorism wave, most of that shyt is stirred up from other women hating on other women.

Darkskin women never had a problem getting a husband because that's where and what is all boils down to in the grand scheme of things but all of a sudden, they have a problem in the 2000s and beyond. Well let's look at these talk shows, TV Shows, magazines and movies and see who is pushing this shyt out in our culture.

Women run most of the media that other women subscribe to.

You are just rewriting history to avoid acknowledging the role men played in it. This desire to shift blame primarily to women is unhealthy. Men drove and supported most of these toxic elements. Women participated but certainly didn’t create or perpetuate them as much as the men they followed. However, their participation doesnt render them innocent, no more than their male counterparts.

Women don’t run anything. Many of the trends they jump on come from emulating men. But apparently your experiences were wildly different. :pachaha: :mjlol:
Your 90s were definitely not my 90s

My 90s had Trick Daddy and Trina played on the radio…edited versions.
Had parties where we were singing along to wildly inappropriate songs like
“dikkEY RIDE! dikkEY RIDE! D I C K E Y RIDE!”
“YOU NEED DIKK IN YO LIFE! And you need some dikk and u need some dikk!”

shyt by the time I hit college in the 2000s that was crunk era. I remember putting sneakers in my bag and tellin my homegirls don’t look for me if some shyt pop off in the club. Im already in the car.

I’m talking Pastor Troy era. Randomly shoving strangers in the club.

“HOLY BIBLE! ASSAULT RIFLE! THOU SHALL NOT KILL UNLESS THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THEY SUPERIOR!”

I remember boys stealing their parents guns in suburbs trying to act like they were dope dealers.:blessed::mjlol:I got cousins like this. Square as fukk, from well off families but they deseperately wanted a gangbanger origin story.

The thing about the 90s is that there were other positive elements too, but it didn’t mean the grimey shyt that existed wasn’t highly influential.
