- Regarding King Barrett's status, he's been appearing on WWE TV in segments with the League of Nations but obviously has had a limited role. The Observer reports that Barrett's neck injury is said to be pretty serious but no other details were available. Barrett last worked the 16-man elimination match on the December 7th RAW and then the 16-man match at the Tribute to The Troops tapings on December 8th.

I guess on the bright side he'll be spared that Cena burial on Monday.

This guy is going straight to the bushes

Doubt they ever give him another shot

He needs to take a hiatus. A long one. And I still can't believe that they wasted King of the Ring on this scrub.

Even Mr. Kennedy didn't have this bad of luck.

If its his neck, then he's done. Way too fragile and injury prone.

Wtf is up with all of these injuries I see on here so often? Are the workers far more careless now or is it because the drug policy is so strict they can't abuse shyt to get through pain anymore?
That corporate work schedule. Averaging 200 matches a year is par for the course, and that's simply dangerous.

The worst part is that they could have more expansive wrestling, and healthier wrestlers...if they would simply make jobbers out of their underutilized talent.

Instead of having the same guys fight five matches before the PPV, cannibalizing the midcard, and getting nothing out of contracts...they could avoid running their value into the ground.

I don't think it's a drug policy issue, they can get that shyt even easier legally than back in the day. The main issue with legal medication is being careful to monitor and avoid opiate addiction.

They simply undermanage and overwork their talent. It's why the Indies will continue to thrive, simply because you will find fantastic wrestlers who refuse to work that schedule, regardless of fame or fortune.

the matches are so much more wreckless and fast paced now, probably a lot harder to execute and time things.

between all the suicide dives, table spots, ladder spots, super high spots, etc... it's not surprising to me that guys go down on the regular.
