Miseducation was lightning in a bottle. It was a debut album from an ex member of popular better than average hip hop group. How high could the expectations have possibly been? How many times does that work out? Going solo
Well that album is a certified classic probably top 10 GOAT.

It's crazy how goddesses like Beyonce who are certified legends in music and been in the business for 20 years still haven't had anything close to that level quality of an entire album.
Plus R&B back then had way stronger competition. I would have probably been checkin for Aaliyah, TLC and Destiny's Child like I did back then when I was 8.
