I didn't know that there was a non-written rule among men to not approach women at the gym. It looks like initiating a conversation will have to fall on me, right? I'm in great physical shape, so I don't know if acting like I don't know what the machines do will work. I know my way around the gym. I'm a regular and I don't see him often. That makes things more difficult. If I see him, how can I create a scenario for him to ask me for my digits?

Mam, I'm working on my ohbleeks for me, not to for the female gaze.

I read the post before it was deleted. That's pretty much how our interaction went. The "You look like someone I know" line is vintage. I got that from Love & Other Drugs. I used that on my last FWB. It works every time, funny enough. @ATownD19

I'm not and I've already answered that. I'm not uploading pictures of myself to appease strangers. It's not that deep. I just wanted suggestions.

Neguinha is a feminized variant of neguinho. I speak fluent Brazilian Portuguese and have visited Rio twice. I've been a member since 2016. I've spoken about the origin of my username on here.

We briefly spoke about where we were from. I didn't walk away. We were in the same area, so I finished up my set. But it's in a gym. Like, how much of a convo can you have with someone between sets? Nothing bad happened. I wanted to be respectful of his time (and mine) and not be chitty-chatty.
