Damn feel bad for him but he’s gotta drop out and just learn a trade or military
Breh cannot be 19 in the 9th grade it’s a recipe for disaster
I remember my high school had a 20 year old
he ain’t finna do that. Some nikkas are a lost cause. Spend the resources and time on kids who actually want to make something of themselves

How/Why was he allowed to be late or absent 272 times?? If I was absent one time, my parents heard about it and were on my ass why I was late or absent. This system failed him from jump, how do you not know his progress after his first semester in high school?? He had no fukking chance, mom gets in the news and is all disappointed in the school now?? Where were you when he was a freshman? What about before that?
Right. His parents failed him first.

But anyway, y'all blaming the mother, but she's working THREE JOBS.

Did anybody not get that.

Let's be real here, there's is another product of Bill Clinton's Welfare REform in the '90s.

Everybody complained about welfare moms, but at the home with their kids is where you want mothers, regardless of their bad choices:francis:

You force these women to work a bunch of hours at jobs away from their kids just to keep a roof over the head just to try to prove some Republicass shyt about the "dignity of work".:stopitslime:

I just read about this mother who left her 3 year old baby alone with her boyfriend to go to work at 3AM and the boyfriend ended up actually shooting her son and shyt

Indiana toddler shot 3 times in Gary, police say | News Break

You nikkaz complain about single mothers on welfare and then when they go out to work and leave their kids alone or with somebody else, shyt like this happens.

It's a much lesser evil to pay these women to stay at home with their children and have someone to supervise them, than to force them out there to work in the name of "pulling themselves up by their bootstraps"

*cue The Coli amateur Republicans*

:unimpressed:

Still no excuse for him to be failing the entire time and she not notice anything about it at all. We are talking years of failing and not just an isolated incident.

Failure by everyone moms looks like she had him at 15. Not surprised. The problem is how will this be fixed. The school should hold a lot of accountability. When i used to skip classes here and there I would always get a call home. Don't schools in Baltimore do this?

it's not on the school that he didn't make enough credits or his parents didn't focus on his education to know where it stood.

education is a culture that demands active participation. it doesn't just happen to you. dude learned nothing and expected to graduate. to what and from what? keep playing with life....

Too many parents who have zero input in their children's learning. They expect the school to do 100% of the work in 8 hours while dealing with 20 other kids in the same classroom...talking about "whats the point of paying fees if they dont do their job and teach my child".

This is 100% on the mother being an aint shyt negligent bytch. I know this cause my aunt has a 12 year old son has zero hand in his education outside of paying school fees. Wont bother asking or helping with homework. But acted shocked and beat his ass when she finally found out that Lil boy still cant read well and cant write his name at his age back in 2019. :francis:

shyt fukks me up everytime i think about it :mjcry:

honestly, a lot of those students are disruptive and make it hard for teachers to teach.

I also think traditional high school is dated. There should be more trade schools for kids that don’t want to take the traditional route. At the end of the day, a high school diploma doesn’t mean shyt now a days.

Also, most inner city schools are laughably underfunded.

These city school districts are way too big.

80,000 kids in Bmore city schools

120,000 kids in Philly city schools

Recipe for disaster.

They trying to do more educating than a college with way less resources.
Montgomery County schools have 100k+ students. The size isn't the issue
